100th blog post!

Can you believe that I already reached 100 posts? 

I guess thats pretty good for a little over a year of having a blog!

So what am I going to write about for this milestone? hmmm...

Did you know Hawaii is an Island?

(ahem i'm going to take a minute to brag and say... yes I did take this picture from the airplane window!)

Yep! An island...A completely beautiful Island...

but guess what there is a down side...

there is not a single craft type store on the island :(  At Walmart the closet thing to something crafty was a coloring book and a 12 pack of colored pencils that.... get this.... cost $10.22! (ha yes that is the exact price! hawaii has weird tax on things so you get weird price tags like 8.13 and 3.37)

So the point of this post?

Yesterday I got a box in the mail...

And guess what it was filled with? Cute scrapbook paper, felt, glue, fabric, colored pencils,  a glue gun, markers, ribbon, paper and fabric scissors, and a cute note from my mommy!

So I would now like to dedicate this post to my wonderful Mom and Dad.
