Rick replaced our car's starter all by himself! I was so impressed with him and his money saving skills! That thing was a beast to get out and replace! What a man I have :)
We have been been having the most fun date nights! We have been trying really hard to make each one involve something new... Tandem bike rides to Kahuku grill, Forts, and learning to dance the tango via Youtube!
We were able to plan a trip home! We leave in 29 days and it can not come faster! We can not wait to see our family, friends, and Eat Cafe Rio! So exciting!
The other day on the way back from town we noticed a gecko clinging on for dear life with his 3 fingered little hands and feet! We named him indiana for his clear want of adventure. Rick drove below the speed limit for 20 minutes to try and help the little guy survive, Although It's best to just come out and say he didn't make it :( I hope his last 20 minutes of life were worthwhile though as we cheered him on as he tried to move along the windshield wiper!
We have been learning to always expect changes to life plans. After much fasting and praying we got a answer to what we are supposed to do after graduating from BYUH! It's a little scary and a lot of work but we are so grateful for the answers and direction Heavenly Father will give if you ask! (A post all about this will be coming I am sure!)
My best friend Tori got married and her and her new husband came to Hawaii on their honeymoon! We were not expecting to see them until we went home, but on our jog a recognizable face popped out of a passing car haha!
Rick and I have been working hard at eating healthy and exercising! So far Rick has lost 15 pounds! I on the other hand have only lost 2 :( Dang boys why do they always have to loose weight so much faster!
And there you have it... you are officially keeping up with the Plehns :)
