Honu

If you didn't know Honu means turtle in Hawaiian! 

This weekend was busy, productive, and special all at the same time! I was able to convince Rick he needed a break from studying for the LSAT and we went and saw some real life Honu :)

I love turtles, beautiful sunsets, and spending time with Rick so this was a triple win for me! 

Sea turtles are endangered so there are guides on the beach to help protect them when they come on shore. The guide told us we were extra lucky because most sea turtles come on shore between 11am and 4pm but this one must have known we were coming because it stayed on the beach up until sunset! 

If you ever come to Hawaii I will take you to see these amazing sea turtles in person... until then... ALOOOHA!

p.s. Say some prayers for Rick since he takes the LSAT on saturday!!
