This Sunday before Christmas Eve was just perfect! We first went off to church with the smallest group of people I have ever experienced. We had a little over 20 people including the senior missionary couples. However the lessons were powerful and full of the spirit. There is something so wonderfully different about celebrating Christmas with people from all over the world and talking about the savior!
Later that night we had one more Hale Activity to supervise which was Caroling around the Hale's. I think we sang every Christmas song known to man and some of them were definitely off key, ha, but it was actually my first time caroling and I LOVED it! I think it will be something we have to do each year!
After the caroling came to an end we celebrated the start of my week off with making our very first Gingerbread house together! We had originally wanted to make our own from scratch but when we calculated the cost of the ingredients and candy it was more economic for our college/living in Hawaii budget to just buy one of the kits. We did try to make it our own though and used a some of what we had around the house! After a couple roof colapeses I think it ended up pretty good :)
To end the night perfectly we moved our bed into the living room and slept under the light of our tree! It was a more than perfect Christmas EveEve :)
