THE JOB

Well I guess you might be wondering what exactly I do? Why don't I have time to blog everyday anymore? Well let me break it down for you.... 

(just FYI I stole part of this from the previous Hale mom's blog, she did an awesome job explaining :)

I am a Hale Mom. My Official title is Hale Coordinator, but when I tell people that they say oh "the hale mom?" haha So Hale Mom it is i guess!

I'm boss to eight wonderful RA's... whom I love dearly.

I run the living residence of 400 female students.

I create the work schedule, hand out the cleaning duties, make sure they are being good little girls and doing their job.

I make sure the hale is running well. Everyone is being nice. Things are working well.

I coordinate with other departments for repairs, events, etc.

I check cameras and catch people doing the most interesting things.

I attend meetings.

I hold meetings.

I sent people through a conduct system if they break rules.

I interview and hire new RA's.

I hear 'HI HALE MOM' numerous times a day.

I help plan parties and programs.

I talk to homesick, lovesick, sad, happy, distraught, angry, girls--and try to help them grow into wonderful adults.

I get woken up at horrid hours of the night for emergencies (occasionally).

I work in the Hale office half the day and across the hall, in my home, the other half.

And you know what....

I love my job!

This job is more work than I have ever thought I could do. It is amazing. It helps me reach past my previous potential every day. It helps me touch others lives, serve constantly, make a difference!
