Tsunami Round Dos

Well we made it through another Tsunami Warning! This time it was less scary but a lot more work :) Around 7pm Rick and I got a call from my Mother that they had seen Hawaii had a Tsunami Warning. Rick and I were on our way back from Costco and sure enough as we passed the overflowing line for the gas station the warning went out!
This time since we live on campus we were in the safety zone and it wan not expected to hit too hard, however we had to move 200 residents up to the top floor! Can you say EEK!? When we finally got back to campus my RA's who literally had to drop everything that they were doing and I were confronted with running around panicking residents. We quickly made a huge sign with all the needed information, helped residents move mattresses upstairs, and filled sinks and tubs full of water. Sometimes I wonder what I would do without such great selfless RA's :)
Thankfully it was a false alarm and Oahu was not hit in the slightest! It has been a joke now for all those who live on the Island and here is a picture to prove it!
